Established in 1956 Joint Stock Company Western Shipping Company is the shipping company actively operating in the European and Russian transport market.
Today the fleet of the company consists from 9 vessels of “river-sea” type vessels.



Fleet is under the Russian Flag and deliver cargoes of different types:

• Coal and cokes
• Mineral fertilizers
• Building cargoes
• Project and general cargoes

Company demonstrates a stable and dynamic growth of cargo deliveries in Western Europe, north-western Russia, Black Sea coast, European internal waterways of Russia.

The strategic direction of the company’s activity is to perfect and promote the service of dry and bulk cargoes deliveries by waterways.

The main idea is based on reliable and safe cargo deliveries in time.

In 2000 reorganizing and restructuring of the management took place in company. The new team was accomplished consisting from experienced managers having modern business education. This helped to increase the service efficiency and prepared the company to enlarge the fleet.
